Client Information
To access our web-based applications, users are required to create an account. Information gathered during the account creation process is used exclusively for internal purposes.
Top Tracking System does not sell, distribute, or share personal or company information with third parties under any circumstances.
You may be required to enter personal or company-related information. You may update or change this information at any time through the tools and links available within our online applications.
Use of Background Location
The TTS HoS Pro app collects coarse location data while running in the background to detect when a vehicle crosses a U.S. state border. The user’s current location is not shared externally. This location data is solely used to calculate miles traveled in each state, which is required for IFTA reporting.
Log Files and System Data Storage
Our system automatically collects and stores certain technical information in log files, including but not limited to:
IP addresses.
Browser type.
Referring/exit pages.
Operating system.
Date and time stamp.
We may also collect device-specific data such as hardware model, OS version, unique device identifiers, mobile network info, and phone numbers. This data helps us analyze trends, improve user experience, and monitor usage for development and internal administration.
Legal Access to Your Information
We may share access to your personal or company information only under the following conditions:
Compliance with government, regulatory, or legal requests.
Enforcement of violations against our privacy policy or terms of service.
Detection or prevention of fraudulent activity.

While no system can guarantee 100% security during data transmission over the internet, we take every reasonable step to protect data once received.
Note: We do not store credit card numbers. Any credit card information submitted is handled through a third-party authorization provider, who validates the transaction. Top Tracking System only receives confirmation of payment and has no access to your financial data.
All personally identifiable information (PII) entered into our system is encrypted and tokenized. Files uploaded through our system are encrypted as well.

Data We Collect:
User Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, company details, driver license, and other registration information.
Driving and HOS Data: Status changes (Driving, On-Duty, Off-Duty, Sleeper Berth), timestamps, and HOS logs.
Location Data: Coarse location data is collected in the background to calculate mileage per state for IFTA reporting. Exact location is never shared or used for advertising.
Device and Usage Information: IP address, device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, and app interaction data.
Odometer and Engine Data: Engine On/Off status, odometer readings, and ECM-derived metrics required for regulatory compliance.
Storage and Security:
All collected data is securely stored using encrypted databases and secure cloud infrastructure.
Personally identifiable information (PII) and HOS logs are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access to data is limited to authorized personnel and used solely for support, compliance reporting, and maintenance purposes.
User Controls:
Users can view and edit certain data within the app and may request access to or deletion of their data by contacting our support team.
No user data is sold, shared, or used for third-party advertising purposes.
Retention Policy:
Data is retained only as long as required by applicable FMCSA regulations and for business operation needs.
Upon account termination, data is archived or deleted in accordance with our retention policies and legal requirements.
California Privacy Protection Act Compliance
TTS HoS Pro fully complies with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). We do not share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent.
All users can review or update their personal information at any time using the provided tools in our online portal.
Information from Third Parties
Top Tracking System does not sell or distribute customer data. On rare occasions, we may use contact lists obtained from third-party sources for internal marketing or communication efforts. Any outreach conducted through these sources is limited and respectful, and the acquired data is used strictly for internal purposes.
